Queens Crescent

There are plenty of positives about every area in London and Queens Crescent is no exception.  It’s situated in the heart of Kentish Town, it boasts of one of the oldest markets in London and most importantly has a thriving community – something that is so often lacking in London.  But one thing the area does need is Jesus.

Queens Crescent has a high unemployment rate, and crime and gang culture are very often associated with it.  The Bible shows us that God wants to ‘bind up the broken hearted’, ‘proclaim liberty to the captives’ and ‘open the prison to those who are bound’ (Isaiah 61), and wonderfully as believers in Jesus we have the responsibility by the power of the Holy Spirit to see this happen.

As a Gospel Community, we want to follow three simple principles:

Love God, Love each other, and Love Queens Crescent

Many of us have moved into the area to bring Jesus into the community.  We will meet regularly in order to lift our eyes to God.  These times will include praying together, taking communion and having times of studying scripture.

We will also meet together for a lot of fun and laughter; spending good quality time with one another and also in smaller groups of 2’s and 3’s to challenge one another in our Christian walk.

While we are doing all of this we will be fervently asking God to open doors on Queens Crescent.  We have dreams of seeing the elderly reached as well as the youth, of impacting the gangs, and showing love and care to the poor, undervalued and unloved.

We’re very excited about what God is doing in the area and in what He is going to do. We would love to encourage you to pray for Queens Crescent and that God’s will is done!
